Discerning God's voice – how NOT to test the voices – Theo Heartsill 2019
Have you ever read the scriptures in 1 John 4:1-3 which state you are NOT to believe every spirit, but instead, you ARE to “try” them to see whether they are of God or not?
How do you do this and does it even work?
Was John telling us that we could challenge every voice, thought, spirit, impression or encounter we have in our daily life – with the response – “Did Jesus Christ come in the flesh?”
And if it answers back with a “yes” then that means they are of God and I can trust it!?!?
