How Should I be Baptized? Jesus Name or Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

Is Baptism to be performed in the name of Jesus,or the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost? Do I even need to be baptized at all? Is baptism essential for salvation or is it just a symbolic gesture. If I have to be baptized, then how do I need to be baptized? In Jesus name or Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

How Peter and the rest of the disciples were baptized. And how they then commanded New Testament believers to be baptized.

We will also look at scriptures where Jesus revealed if water baptism was essential for salvation or not. Did Jesus have much to say about water baptism? Yes he did.

Was water baptism to be administered in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, or in the titles father son and Holy Spirit?

Was there a disagreement between Jesus and Peter and the rest of the disciples regarding baptism? Did Peter and the rest of the disciples misunderstand how water baptism was to be administered? Did Peter and the disciples disobey Jesus or did they in fact actually carry out and fulfill the command of Jesus in Mat 28:19?

Jesus told Peter in Mat 16:18-19: “And I say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the Kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
