I know this may be an uncomfortable subject – but I want to examine the Hebrew and Greek to determine whether the 10 commandments AND Jesus said – “you shall not kill” or “you shall not murder.”

This may appear to be a simple question, but confusion over this subject leads people to wrestle with all kinds of questions like:

• Did the 10 commandments say thou shalt not kill, or thou shalt not murder and what’s the difference?
• Weren’t all forms of killing forbidden by God?
• Didn’t Jesus himself say “thou shall not kill”?
• If a person cannot kill in any form – then what right do people have to defend themselves?
• Does the Bible say people can defend themselves or not?
• Can a country have a military, police department, security and civil courts etc?
• If someone accidently killed someone in an accident, are they guilty of murder?

I’ve seen so many people struggle with these questions and want to know the truth, so in this video, we’ll dig into the Hebrew and Greek to look at words like “Ratsach,” “Nakah,” and “Phoneuo” to discover what these words actually mean and what was the 10 commandments and Jesus actually saying.

God bless, see ya in the video!
