ABOUT TIMOTHY SPELL
Timothy Spell was born March 31, 1954 to the proud parents of Rev. B.A. and Dorothy Spell of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His family has pioneered a great work in that city and raised Timothy in the ways of the Lord. Timothy Spell had an awesome experience with the Lord at the tender young age of 6 when he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, but even before that it was apparent that the Lord had His hand on this man. Raised in church Timothy worshipped and sang at a very early age, recording his first album when he was just 16. The album, named “It Will Be Worth It All”, had great success, but this was just the beginning…
“I love to travel, I love to sing, I love doing what I am doing” says Spell, and so he does – Timothy Spell, since that first recorded album at 16, has traveled throughout the world being used of God in song and worship. Timothy has been a man in demand for years and still is a common name among many churches that have been blessed to have him on their platform.
While listening to Tim minister you can feel the presence of the great God of Heaven, and by listening, it becomes clear that the music that he records is music with a message. It is Tim’s greatest desire to see lives changed by the Gospel of Christ. While at a Tim Spell meeting, whether it be a camp meeting, conference, camp, or revival, you can always feel a closeness between Tim and those that are there. The reason for this is that he is mindful that it takes both a closeness with Christ and a closeness with people to be an effective minister.
Timothy has been blessed not only in the spiritual realm but also in the natural; while married to Jeanie, the Lord has blessed them with three sons, Timothy, Johnny, and Tony. Timothy is even a ” blessed grandfather ” having several grandchildren.
Tim, even after years of labor on the road, reaching for souls through his songs and preaching, still carries a burden to reach out to those that are in need. It would be a great blessing to anyone to be where Timothy Spell is ministering, to meet the man firsthand!
